Lately, I’ve been experimenting with making my own glazes — blending colours inspired by the coastlines I love most: Banks Peninsula, the Marlborough Sounds, and other places where land meets sea.
Soft greens, ocean blues, and sandy tones layer gently over porcelain clay, creating a finish that feels both calm and familiar. Each mug is my way of bottling up a little piece of those landscapes.
No two mugs are the same — each one varies slightly in its glaze pattern and size, making it as individual as the coastline that inspired it.
